IDD Carriers
Do you monitor the performance of your IDD carrier closely? Not only do you need them to provide roaming CLi service but your outbound revenue and service quality also depends on them.
Remember to send your roaming partners’ updated IR21 to your IDD carriers – any changes on the MSRN information may have an impact upon your outbound roamers receiving incoming calls.

HOT TOPICS MACH @ Mobile Roaming
Lodewijk Cornelis, Chief Sales Officer at MACH recently presented “Forecasting regional growth of the Roaming market and the impact of falling roaming prices on revenues to 2011” at Mobile Roaming in Vienna, Austria.
A health check of the Roaming business was put forward, focusing on the pre- and post-Reding era (the traffic patterns before and after the EU regulation came into force). Lodewijk also explored the factors that will drive the Roaming industry in 2008 (NRTRDE and hot billing, Open Connectivity and MVNOs), alongside current and future examples of roaming marketing (E.g. let an airline pay for the first call whilst in the airport).
